We go about our normal days and we work, we take care of our families, and we often forget about them.
Veteran’s Day is important because it’s one day a year but we should say “Thank you for your service” as much as possible.
Today I salute my father who served in the Coast Guard and both my grandfathers who also proudly served in our nation’s military.
I also salute all the men and women who serve our country, fight for our country, and wear the uniform proudly.
Thank you for your service.
May we say those words today and every day.
