I don’t know of too many people on LinkedIn who have gills or fins, but people here are just like a bunch of fish swimming in a HUGE pond.
🐠 The fish are the prospects for entrepreneurs who are “fishing” on LinkedIn.
🐠 The fish are the recruiters or hiring managers for job seekers who are “fishing” on LinkedIn.
The fat worms are the job seekers who are devoting extra effort to adding some “meat” to their profile, who are engaging with possible referrals, and who are connecting with hopes of finding their next opportunity.
The fat worms are the business owners and entrepreneurs who are engaging daily, who are making connections and who are carving out time daily to post, comment, and DM.
The skinny and tiny worms, that the fish are nibbling up but not getting reeled in or the ones that the worms are passing by, are the people who just are occasionally on the platform and they don’t get it.
🐸 The frogs who are hopping around the pond are the people who are on LinkedIn for the conversation and to build those relationships.
Which are you?
What are you doing to stand out from all the other fish swimming around on LinkedIn?
