We all want to be visible to the right people on this platform, right? We all want to start conversations, right?
Here are some comments by others here…
“Why post on the weekend? Are people REALLY on LinkedIn on the weekend?”
“I’m so sick of polls. Why do people post so many polls?”
“Why post personal stuff on LinkedIn?”
Saturday morning, I posted a poll about unpacking. Why? Well, I woke up on
day 8 of my move with so many boxes to unpack and rooms left to organize. So I wondered what the average time people would say it takes to unpack.
So I asked my LinkedIn connections in a poll.
That post brought in over 44,000 views, nearly 200 comments, my profile views have gone up more than 300%, AND most importantly, the post started multiple conversations between me and so many of my connections.
LinkedIn is a professional network and starting conversations is the ultimate goal.
Proof is in the pudding.
