You know what? I’m not ready to jump off the tallest building or a cliff.

I know exactly why those numbers have dropped so drastically.

I haven’t engaged with people here as much as usual. I haven’t posted in 6 days.

When the numbers drop, you just pull up bootstraps and hike up that hill again.

When I work with my clients, one of the things I emphasize is that the LinkedIn algorithm likes when you do a combination of profile optimization, engagement, and posting content. It’s a happy combo of all of the above.

For the past week, I haven’t been concentrating as much on any of it.

My main focus is and has been on on my family.

We just relocated from the Columbus, OH area to the Akron, OH area. Moving a family of five isn’t easy.

We are still surrounded by LOTS of boxes.

Not to mention my mile long “to do” list: register for the new schools, find dentists, doctors, set up and drive to kids’ activities, etc. etc. etc. you know, all that fun stuff.

Guess what? We just met some new neighbors! There are kids around the same ages as my kids….woooooo hooo!!!

In between emptying boxes, I am easing back into LinkedIn and my business.

I’m ready to climb back up the mountain too.
