It’s all about your perspective. You’re either drowning or treading water.

We got our 3rd Covid positive case this morning. That means 3 out of the 5 of us have Covid.

“Ridiculous”, that was the word I used in one conversation after another.

My perspective shifted completely when I was on the way to the elementary school to get my son’s assignments. That’s when I saw a school bus with it’s hazards on. I checked the time…must be a high school student.

Yep.

It was a high school student, but he wasn’t walking off the bus. This student was being dropped off at home and the bus had to use a wheelchair ramp.

As I watched his mom push him up the ramp to his house I thought, “So what? So you have three positive Covid cases…things could be so much worse.”

My daughter was devastated when we got that positive test result. She REALLY wanted to go back to school tomorrow. Now she can’t go back until November 1st.

I have to tell her she will miss trick or treating on Halloween. Anyone want to switch places to have that talk?

That being said, if I don’t keep this whole thing in perspective, I will cry. Things could be SO MUCH WORSE. No one is sick enough that we’re going to the hospital. All the symptoms are mild. I’m not wheeling anyone up the ramp to go home after school.

Keeping things in perspective.

Isolation and quarantine are the primary words around here.

Want to smile? After we got that 3rd positive test result, I played Queen’s “Another One Bites The Dust.”

Healthy vibes and prayers appreciated. Thank you to everyone who’s reached out to check on us.
