I got sold to via PM, right after connecting, from someone who is considered a “LinkedIn expert”.

I was shocked.

I was surprised.

I was dumbfounded.

I read it multiple times to make sure I got it right.

Please, if you are working with anyone to help you grow your network here, PLEASE DO NOT SELL VIA PM.

Selling via PM is one of the biggest pet peeves of people on this network.

Don’t do it.

I don’t sell via PM. I don’t coach my clients to do it either.

People buy from people that they….Know. Like. Trust.
