I’m a big believer of staying true to your word…AND using examples.

by | Jul, 2022

So I’m posting a video for the first time in months AND I’m using a couple of examples of DMs to teach a lesson.

When you’re connecting with someone you don’t know, it’s more powerful to say who you are what you’re all about then it is to say something that doesn’t sound authentic.

The “what not to do” example didn’t put a lot of time or energy into his DM and it shows.

I’m tagging my “what to do” example here and I’ve asked his permission to use it first. Let’s hear it for Chris Glico! 🙌👏👊

I’m not tagging my “what not to do” example and I’ve blocked out his name and profile picture because I’m not a fan of embarrassing anyone.

We all want to meet more people here on LinkedIn so sending a connection request that is personalized, says something about you…

OR

says something that you picked up from that prospective connection’s profile is definitely the way to go.

That’s why when I’m working with my clients, the profile is one of the parts of my triangle for growing here.

Want to hear about how my 1 on 1 clients work with me on the fundamentals in just six weeks? Feel free to DM me anytime.

Oh and if you watch the video until the end you’ll laugh because after a year I apparently still don’t know where I live. 😂
