I don’t know too many people who will do it…literally. Don’t do it here either.
When you post, “Look at me, check me out, I’m here!” Even if you feel that you have a “brand” and you want to make sure people know about it, that is shouting from the rooftop.
When you post in a way that opens up the conversation, tells a story, asks a question, leaving room for people to engage, that’s not shouting from the rooftop, that is creating conversation.
Incidentally I should also say when you don’t reply to your comments, you are essentially walking away from potential conversations. Reply to those of us who comment, people!
LinkedIn isn’t a business platform it is a big discussion. If you aren’t talking, you are missing out.
It shouldn’t be a task or something you “have to do”, it should be something you enjoy doing, like I do.
