I know I promised to post a lot of advice about your LinkedIn profile this week…but I changed my mind this afternoon.

by | Feb, 2022

I just got off the phone with a couple of amazing people who made me smile and made my day better.

Amanda K. and Chris Hennessy 🎙📹 have HUGE hearts and they are AMAZING humans. I’m so happy to take the LinkedIn relationship with both of these people offline.

I’m proud to support Sadie’s Purpose because it’s a worthwhile cause that fills a big need in the community and you should follow Amanda K. and her non-profit’s page. I can’t wait to see all the big things she does with her organization.

Chris Hennessy 🎙📹 is going to have a HUGE 2022 because he’s found his mission and his community and I told him “If you need anything, just let me know.”

Niraj Kapur said something during LinkedIn International for Lawyers on Clubhouse this morning. He said “If you aren’t meeting people face to face, you should.” He walks the talk. He travels hours to meet people who are worthwhile of his time and it enhances relationships, it’s truly appreciated.

I can’t meet and interact with all my people here in person, it’s hard. I do all my stuff via Zoom and phone. These “get to know you phone calls on Friday afternoons” is the next best thing. This afternoon I spoke to connections who live hours away and they both made my day better.

Have conversations with people you follow and appreciate offline.

Oh and I thought of a profile tip too…so if you’ve read this post until the end…you’re in luck! Your profile is not set in stone. You can tweak it at any time.

Make the changes, test out that headline, modify that banner image, make that change to your About section, because nothing is set in stone.
