You don’t always need to post with a picture. I’ve done numerous posts that were straight text, no images.
Back when I started posting content here, nearly 3 years ago, I went out of my way to add a picture. Now it’s not as big of a deal.
I will say that I’m adding pictures with each of my posts, since I got Creator Mode.
When your LinkedIn profile is in Creator Mode, it lists your 6 recent posts, as opposed to your activity – what you commented or reacted to recently.
If you don’t add an image to your post, LinkedIn’s default is your profile picture.
Last week I was talking to a couple clients, showing them Creator Mode and I scrolled down and said “Woah, that’s a lot of Deanna!”
They laughed, I laughed. I love to inject humor into my coaching sessions. I also just tell it the way it is.
Moral of the story – add pictures with your posts here if it makes sense and if you don’t have one – then straight text – because your words will speak volumes.
