Wait, I’m not trying to start an argument here. I’m not talking about the importance of working at a job for 5, 10, 15, or even 25 years or longer.
I’m talking about experience on your LinkedIn Profile.
When I’m working with my client on optimizing his or her LinkedIn profile, we go section by section and when we get to the Experience section I talk to him or her about highlighting wins and accomplishments, things you want to brag about.
That being said, I want to know: when you look at a prospective connection, do you scroll down to read his or her experience?
I know, through a poll that I posted here, that the most important pieces of a LinkedIn Profile are Profile Picture, Headline,Banner and About section…but do you look at that person’s experience too?
How much or how far do you scroll down?
What are you looking for when you do review that experience?
What do you have in your own experience section?
Inquiring minds want to know.
